Our Story
Fourteen years ago, Blomfontein began with a vision to create an affordable, unique and personalised space where families and friends could escape the city and spend quality time together.
Originally, the farm was considered for purchase and development, but we decided to take the opportunity into our own hands and develop it ourselves — creating a venue where nature, privacy and meaningful experiences come together.
Set approximately 50 km from the nearest town, Blomfontein is surrounded by beautiful mountains and natural landscapes, as well as lush gardens with around 4,000 rose bushes, a signature fountain surrounded by roses, and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
Our goal has always been simple: to create a place where unforgettable memories are made.

This is an absolute marvelous venue. It is a must see for every one looking for a venue for a wedding. The surroundings, the accommodation, the gardens (there is about 4000 rose bushes), the owner and people working there so friendly and helpful, the wild animals only a couple of meters away............go see for yourself.
